Becoming Mindless
12 years of your life on a phone
What could you do with 12 extra years of life?
That's how much time the average person will spend on their phone over their lifetime. Twelve years of scrolling, refreshing, and that disorienting feeling when you finally look up.
I'm not here to shame anyone (trust me, I've been there). But I do want to challenge something:
What if being "mindless" was actually the goal?
Not mindless as in checked-out or aloof. Mindless as in free from the mental noise that makes clear thinking impossible.
That's why we are building Mindless.
Mindless is not just an app blocker:
Most app blockers just... block apps. Then you override them 30 seconds later because you never addressed the why behind your behavior.
Mindless works like a therapist in your pocket. Every time you open a distracting app, you get a simple prompt: What's your intention right now? That response gets logged. Our AI analyzes your patterns, helps you understand your triggers, and guides you toward better habits.
It's the same awareness-based approach that costs thousands in therapy, but accessible to everyone. You can block apps easily in Mindless, but in my experience, it is not very helpful to simply block.

Launching VERY soon:
Mindless was submitted to the App Store today. We're launching this week or next at the absolute latest.
I can't wait for you to try it.
Question for you: Hit reply and tell me what your #1 struggle is. Is it screen time? If so what apps? Is it focus, low dopamine? I want to learn more about what you are dealing with so I can make sure Mindless provides the help you need.
Our mission is simple: help the world improve mental health through less screen time and a deeper understanding of how the brain works.
So far over 2,000 of you are a part of this mission. Together, we're changing mental health for good.
